MATERNITY & NEWBORN
We loves us some Gattshall family! Mark and Tim used to live together back in their crazy bachelor days (crazy is a nice, understated way of putting it - HA!), so we've known them FOREVAH. Since this shoot took place the week of their 8th wedding anniversary, they chose the same location where they took wedding pictures. As you can imagine, I frickin' love that :-). Hope you enjoy the pics, G Fam! XOXO
My personal favorite image of me and my kiddos from Mother's Day 2017 :-). Hope all the mamas out there had an amazing day! Next up, Father's day - and you know what makes a great gift? Turtle Street gift certificates! Use our Contact Page to get yours.
What a fun group! When we got the email about this extended family session to celebrate a very special lady's birthday, with folks coming into town from all over the country, it was hard to resist. There was tons of love and laughter and all the good stuff I like to see (and document!) at our sessions. Fast forward to the actual shoot, and this group was funny and down-to-earth and everyone had a blast...including me. Thanks for finding us, F...it was a pleasure to meet you, and I hope your family got back safely to their homes :-).
Our seven year-old recently had to do a class project for Japan. She has been taking karate for about a year and chose to focus on that, so we needed some pictures of her doin' her thang. The images I was seeing were so cute, and SHE was so cute, it turned into a little mini session :-). Documenting kids doing what they love somewhere they're totally comfortable is one of my favorite things, period (side note: just outside the frame were baskets overflowing with soon-to-be-folded laundry!).
In-home sessions are awesome. Documentary-style, photojournalistic storytelling sessions are awesome. Use our contact page to book one - we're now offering a limited number of storytelling shoots half off through August!
As my sister's BFF since elementary school, I've know Rachelle almost her whole life! It is a joy to see her with an awesome husband and sweet (adorable, perfect, handsome, did I mention ADORABLE!?!?) baby boy :-). Although they live in California now, I was so glad I could capture the whole family on a trip back to the mitten. It was SO WONDERFUL to see you guys, I'm so glad we could get together! XOXO
